This is how Ålhytta became visible on new, important keywords
The keyword analysis from Gasta showed that they had the potential to become more visible to people who did not know them before. This is how we proceeded.
Cabin manufacturer Ålhytta already has a lot of traffic from search engines to its Squarespace website. The majority of them have searched for their own name. That's great, and an indicator of a strong brand.
But! Everyone who searches for Ålhytta knows the company from before. What about those who are looking for a cabin, but don't know Ålhytta? What do they search for?
A keyword analysis from Gasta showed that there is a lot of traffic for keywords such as modular cabin and turnkey cabin. There was a lot of potential here, but Ålhytta was virtually invisible. We wanted to do something about that.
The first step was to create a dedicated landing page for each theme, in this case Turnkey cabins and Modular cabins. The landing page is the URL we want to appear as a hit in Google's search engine for the search in question.
We then worked on optimizing content on the landing pages, boosting traffic with paid keyword ads and sharing the landing pages in other channels to get more traffic and more links.
Taken together, all this signals to Google that Ålhytta has good, useful and relevant content that responds well to searches. The search engine will then show them higher up in the results list.
In fact, the new landing pages are some of the most visited subpages on the site today!
