Add mountain board meetings - link to pdf files

You can use Squarespace's built-in event function to post notices and agendas for board meetings. Upcoming board meetings will then appear on the start page. When the meetings are over, they automatically disappear from there.

Here's how to create a summons

Create a meeting:

Click on the module that looks like this and is called Mountain board meetings or similar. To add a new meeting, click on the + sign at the top (to the left)

You will then see an editing window. Enter the title of the meeting.

Then click on the date of the meeting and set the time (if AM is in the evening)

Then enter the case list, as shown above

How to embed a pdf file

First, write the agenda (pdf) or similar text - and select it.

Then click on the link symbol in the menu

Then it will look like the picture below:

Click on File

Then click on Upload file

Find the PDF document on your disk

When you see the document in the file list, check the box in front of the file name

Remember to click on Open in new window, as you want them to see the pdf in a separate browser window (most user-friendly)

Finally, click on Save

Before you finish - click on Location where you decide where the meeting will take place

When you enter the address, Squarespace will (usually) find the city on the map. Click on Save

To publish the meeting online, click on Save and Publish in the bottom of the window

Here you can also save this as Draft if you are not finished, then the page will not be displayed online.
