New version of Squarespace analytics

Gasta registers all the web pages we create in Google analytics. This statistics and analysis tool provides you with all conceivable information about website activity. However, we constantly find that our customers experience Google Analytics as a kind of "information overload".

We can probably agree!

New version of Squarespace analytics

It's great that Squarespace's built-in statistics function (located in the main menu under Analytics) has been greatly improved. This is simpler than Google analytics and for most people provides enough information to be able to monitor and analyze the website. Are you achieving the goals you set for your website? You will usually be able to read this quickly from the built-in statistics in Squarespace.

Get more insight

The Traffic Sources panel gives you an overview of visitors and what channels they came from, e.g. via search, social media or from other websites. Here you can also see what proportion of visitors come from mobile, tablet or PC. Important information!

Follow visits over time - historical data

In the new version, you can follow visitor numbers compared to the previous week, month or year, or you can specify the period, and now get access to historical numbers back to 2014.
