New visual identity for Luster municipality

Luster Municipality has recently launched a modern and user-friendly website, where the new profile really comes into its own.

The new visual identity, developed by us in Gasta , draws inspiration from the deep, clear fjords, majestic mountains and lush cultural landscape that make Luster unique.

Through close and very good cooperation with the municipality, the profile was designed based on central values such as fjord, mountains, power, tourism, nature and growth - elements that together reflect both the identity and future visions of Luster.

– The idea of the round and playful shapes is taken from nature. With a color palette that reflects nature, and graphic elements that create a common thread across surfaces, the profile contributes to a holistic and recognizable visual representation of the municipality, says Hilde Nes, designer at Gasta .

The goal has been to create an expression that is timeless, clear and inclusive – something that strengthens the identity of Luster Municipality and makes it easier for residents and visitors to recognize the municipality's communication.

On February 7th, Luster Municipality launched its new, creative website.

A good collaboration

For us in Gasta It has been an exciting task to create a visual profile that not only looks good, but also conveys the essence of what Luster stands for.

– We think it's great to contribute to such projects and appreciate the good cooperation with the municipality. It's extra fun when we have such good dynamics as we have had and pull the project in the same direction, says Nes.
