Festival success with digital advertising

Before the summer, we had the pleasure of working with Norsk Countrytreff on advertising in digital channels. It has yielded very good results.

A few years ago we created a website for the Norwegian Country Meeting in Breim. Since then, we have been a regular partner in the graphic design of posters, brochures and other materials.

After two years of canceled festivals due to the corona pandemic, they were ready to go all out in 2022. They wanted to focus most of their marketing on digital channels, and we are pleased that they chose Gasta as a partner in the project.

Marketing adapted to target groups

With festival participants in different age groups and from different parts of the country, it was important to choose the right channels and format for the ads.

Among other things, we have created banner ads in Google's Display network, ads in local newspapers at Amedia and video ads on Facebook, Instagram and Snapchat.

In this way, we have ensured variation in the advertising and targeted the ads to the right people.

Audience record despite fewer marketing dollars and bad weather

When the festival itself kicked off in Breim, a record number of people braved the weather and lined up to get in. With just under 18,000 tickets sold, it was a record year for Countrytreffet.

And this despite the fact that this year they had used fewer market crowns in total than in previous years. That's fantastic!
