Do you have your marketing ready for Christmas?
Don't let your website and social media lie fallow even if your employees are on vacation. Here's what you should have ready before you take your Christmas break.
Even if your customers aren't at work at Christmas, they definitely won't log off. On the other hand, many people have even more time to both surf the web and plan ahead while on vacation.
That's why it's a good idea to start planning how you're going to keep your channels alive during the festive season.
Ensure continuity
During the holidays, many people have extra time to read articles, surf and shop online. So it's a shame if your channels are completely empty. Why not prepare a few articles on your website that can be shared at Christmas?
Pre-publication
Most social media allow you to schedule posts in advance so that they are published automatically at the chosen time. Prepare a few posts for publication at Christmas, so you don't have to worry during your vacation.
Opening hours and contact info
Remember to update your opening hours in Google My Business and on your website. Make it clear to your customers where and how they should contact you over the Christmas period.

Comments and questions
Good service helps build your brand - even during the holidays. Ideally, someone should be available to respond to comments and messages during the holidays. Perhaps you could set up a holiday list so that someone checks in from time to time?
What can I talk about?
Not everything we read at Christmas has to be about Christmas. The holidays can be an excellent time to share professional material, talk about the new project you're about to embark on or show off a new employee starting in the new year. We all have limited time during the holidays, and there's no denying that some of that time is spent scrolling on our phones. Seize the opportunity!
