Éin mal - 14 new websites in Squarespace
Fontenehus Norge is a voluntary working community with units all over the country. When 14 of them wanted new websites, we made the process efficient.
- We are an organization where all departments are self-governing foundations. That's why we needed a solution that both strengthened an overall expression, and at the same time gave each department room to design their own website. Gasta delivered 10/10 on this.
This is according to Håvard Paulsen, Project Manager and Head of Communications at Fontenehus Norway.
- On top of that, we needed the publishing solution to be easy for people with only average digital skills.
Simple and efficient editing
In collaboration with Fontenehus Norge, we developed a template that formed the basis for 14 new websites. With a consistent design and good structure, the goal is to strengthen the brand of the inclusive work community. By using saved sections , we have made it possible for each fountain house to easily and efficiently edit the content - and create their own personal website.
Paulsen believes that thorough preparation has been the key to a successful project.
- "The offer from Gasta outperformed the competition in terms of thoroughness and understanding of who we are and what we needed. With clear roles for them and us, it was easy to make adjustments along the way, and to accept that the departments carried out the implementation at different speeds. This was despite the fact that there were many people involved in the project on our side.
Here they can see what Saved Sections look like in Squarespace:
CHOOSE DESIGN: Gasta set up different templates under saved sections that Fontenehusa can choose from.
TIME-SAVING: By selecting a saved section, you can quickly change the text and image to your own.
Discovered new features in Squarespace
Fontenehuset Fredrikstad is one of the fountain houses that can already boast a new website. They already had good experience with Squarespace, but have now also gained clearer ownership of their website.
- From the very first meeting, we at Fontenehuset Fredrikstad have felt well taken care of. It's been easy to get in touch for help and support, and the collaboration between Gasta and us has gone smoothly. We have previous experience with Squarespace, so I knew a bit about a lot of it, but the updated functions were great to learn. Gasta "Turned on their heels", as we say here in Fredrikstad, and were ready to help along the way.
GOOD PREPARATORY WORK: Einar Belck-Olsen and his colleagues at Fontenehuset Fredrikstad have made a thorough plan for how the new website will help them reach out to new and existing members. Photo: Patrick Fardal.
- Through this collaboration, we now feel that we have a website that is ours. It looks great, of course, but we've got a completely different kind of ownership of it now - and we don't think it would have been the same without Gasta and the way they've met us.
