A new website that puts people at the center
Romarheim's website was perceived as anonymous and not very personal. Now they have launched a new website - where employees play the main role!
- "We wanted a video on the front page that highlights the employees, and this has been solved in a great way. The best thing is that we can replace the video ourselves, without involving a developer," says Linn Merete Rognø Edvardsen, Communications Manager at Romarheim.
It was important to Romarheim that the new website reflected a good working environment. The old website failed to convey who they really are. The solution? Lots of pictures and videos from everyday working life - with the employees in focus.
- "We now have a website that shows the people behind the company. The site is closer and more real, and that creates credibility," says Rognø Edvardsen.
Landing pages that boost SEO
There was also a need for a website that was more user-friendly and SEO-friendly. By creating separate landing pages for each of the services Romarheim offers, not only has the user experience improved - it also works wonders for search engine optimization (SEO).
- The new structure makes it easier for search engines to find us, which will increase traffic to the website over time," explains Rognø Edvardsen.
New, user-friendly menu
We have also helped Romarheim to implement the specially developed mega menu, which makes navigation on the website much easier.
- "The menu system is both clear and intuitive, making it easy to find the various services we offer. In addition, the menu can be clicked away for those who want an even cleaner experience, all to make the content more accessible," says Rognø Edvardsen.
A flexible solution with Squarespace
With a new website in Squarespace, Romarheim now has a website they can customize themselves.
- "We wanted a living website that we could adjust as needed, and that's what we got. Now we can add new projects and adjust the content at any time.
Rognø Edvardsen says that they can more easily keep the website updated, without having to ask for help every time they want to change something. This provides both freedom and flexibility, which is crucial in today's digital world.
