SIMAS IKS, the waste company in Indre Sogn, is one of the customers we work with on a regular basis. They have been focusing on reducing food waste in Sogn for a long time. Together, we have created the campaign "Become a food rescuer" which has been running since the fall of 2020.
The food expert answers
The latest initiative is a series of information videos about food waste. SIMAS has teamed up with the science center ViteMeir to share knowledge about how to avoid throwing away food that could actually be eaten.
In total, we have produced eight films in the series, with each film addressing a different topic. Here, food expert Lars from ViteMeir answers common questions about everything from fruit and vegetables to bread, rice and mold.
Light-hearted videos for social media
Gasta has been responsible for the entire process, from idea and script to filming and editing. The videos are intended to be light-hearted and informal, and are designed to be shared online and on social media. That's why we chose to make short snippets in a square format, rather than one long information video.
