Finally recertified as an Environmental Lighthouse
We had to postpone the recertification before Christmas for various reasons, but now we have been able to work well with our environmental work and have been recertified as an Environmental Lighthouse.
Since we certified as an Environmental Lighthouse in December 2021, a lot has happened, both in terms of the criteria for certification, the digital world and with us in Gasta :
New office space with far better waste management, energy use and indoor environment.
More focus on green coding and green design, and not least the energy consumption used for AI tools, advertising and servers. We have now established measures and goals that we will achieve by 2025.
We have introduced regular, digital cleaning days - we have a lot to learn from this!
In addition, we will better communicate the work we and our customers are doing in sustainability to make more people aware of the footprint of digital services.
